Selecting the landscape and tree species
We are pleased to announce that so far, we raised €1344 that covers the plantation of around 134 trees! By creating this website, we would like to provide a platform, where family and friends can follow the plantation journey.
Michael Schuring, Chris’ friend and local representative of Growboxx technology in Jordan, informed us that he drove to Wadi Vera with 100 Waterboxxes. Wadi Vera is a farm located north east of Amman, the capital of Jordan.
He strolled around the area and sent us pictures of where the trees could be planted.
The upcoming weeks, we should learn more about the type of native trees that used to grow in the area and are still available on the market. Besides the native species, the goal is to plant trees from the Red List, which is a collection of rare and threatened species needing urgent conservation attention.
